What is an electromechanical composter?

With an external cubic shape, it is in reality a tank with paddles that is hidden under the structure. Every 2 hours, the blades stir the material and ensure its oxygenation so as to optimise the work of the bacteria naturally present in the bio-waste. Air is constantly extracted to allow the bacteria to breathe and the insulation keeps everything warm.

An electromechanical composter is in fact a reactor for thermophilic bacteria, which compost organic matter the fastest. The result: the process is 32 times faster than a "cold" composter, such as the one we might have at the bottom of our garden. The mixing also ensures that the compost is perfectly homogenous and hygienic.

This efficiency allows it to receive any type of bio-waste and the controlled air flow makes the problem of odours easy to manage.

In the case of our composters, we wanted to make them intelligent: they weigh the waste, ensure the traceability of materials and temperatures automatically and are equipped with different programmes: Acceleration to absorb peaks, Holidays to slow them down, Hygiene+ for sensitive waste. Everything can be modified on site, but also remotely, thanks to a web platform made available to our customers.

This is why these machines are said to combine the advantages of local composting, which does not require transport, and industrial composting, which is fast and safe.

Circ biodigesters

Circ biodigesters: Green energy for all

Think of them as a private, affordable powerhouse that converts your bio-waste into sustainable energy and high-quality fertilizer. This way, you are replacing natural gas with a sustainable, free and circular alternative. A solution that benefits you, your business, the environment and society.

Circ biodigesters
The design is such that the minimum life span of the machine is 15 years. Refurbishing the machine allows it to double its life without excessive expense.
The high density polyethylene used is a 100% recycled and 100% recyclable plastic.
Steel is recycled at 30%. We aim to increase this figure in the coming months.

Save energy costs with the combination of the bio-digester and the PowerUnit GreenlifePro!

With the PowerUnit GreenlifePro we can produce our own green energy and heat locally without any worries. The PowerUnit produces electricity from biopropane, which makes it 100% CO2 neutral and sustainable.

In addition to the electrical energy generated, we also create heat. We can use this to provide all the heating water and domestic hot water. This applies to both high and low temperatures.

Thanks to this PowerUnit GreenlifePro, the central heating system, as well as the existing boiler, will run less or not at all. This in turn results in lower gas consumption.

The PowerUnit is adapted and regulated according to our energy consumption. Thanks to this installation, we achieve a sustainable and financial efficiency of 100% from day one. We no longer have to deal with the high energy costs we used to have to face. GreenlifePro and Metabolism provide a fair price, correct installation and you are entitled to many additional subsidies. GreenlifePro and Metabolism are happy to guide you through the administrative process.

Save energy costs with the combination of the bio-digester and the PowerUnit GreenlifePro!

The Voluntary Drop-off Point - P.A.V.

With Upcycle, we offer dedicated biowaste drop-off points specially designed to allow biowaste to be collected by bicycle, thanks to a special trailer that they have developed.

UPCYCLE's biowaste drop-off points house 2 x 120 litre bins and a bag storage area.

Easy: for users, they open with a unique access code after a quick registration on the dedicated app, to ensure that users understand how it works and what they can put in their bag. Forgot your code? A QR code allows you to find it in a few seconds.

Practical: no more overfilled or dirty bins! Thanks to the QR code, you can tell the operator that the bins need to be collected or the RRP needs to be cleaned.

The managers of the biowaste collection point are informed in real time of its filling rate or of an alert given by a user. They can intervene as quickly as possible to replace a full bin with an empty one and fill the Kraft bag.

Connected: for a community, one of the challenges is to reduce the volume of household waste it produces. Bio-waste represents 30% of our waste bins, so it is the first lever to reduce the overall volume of waste. Thanks to the unique codes used by users, local authorities can find out how many inhabitants use the voluntary collection point, how often, and whether everything is working. All this is done remotely thanks to the immediate collection of data on a secure web platform.

This makes it possible to optimise the collection of waste in the neighbourhood: move a voluntary collection point that is underused or re-launch an awareness campaign on sorting in an area that is a little behind.  But also to identify the most dynamic areas where more equipment should be added.

Finally, it is a real tool for the well-being of the inhabitants, the local management structure and the planet.

Guarantees: all our biowaste collection points have been designed and manufactured in France, with the aim of reducing the environmental footprint as much as possible while guaranteeing aesthetics and practicality for users.

Biowaste collection by bike

We have devised a flexible, simple, licence-free system that can transport skips directly to simplify and optimise collection operations in the neighborhood.

In partnership with the French company Kryole, we offer a system capable of carrying 4 x 120 litre skips on the side and 23 litre bins and all the equipment you might need in the centre.

Ideal for collecting bio-waste, but also for redistributing compost!

The electric trailer can be walked or towed by a bicycle. It is self-propelled and self-braking.

How does it work?

A structure is fixed to a housing. The structure allows to fix without effort 4 dumpsters of 120 L even full, thanks to mechanical levers.

The structure and the housing are connected to a drawbar.

When the operator sets off, a sensor in the drawbar senses the forces and gives orders to the two electric motors to cancel them out instantly. When you start, the trailer follows you effortlessly, and when you brake, it brakes immediately. A simple technology, very efficient and 100% made in France.

But powerful!

With 1500W of driving power, the trailer can carry up to 250kg of payload.

What kind of bike can be attached to the UpCycle electric trailer?

The electric trailer can be heavy, and although all bikes are suitable for occasional use, for regular use, we strongly recommend a bike with a disc brake. The trailer will automatically slow down when it senses that the bike is braking, so it is essential to have brakes in perfect condition for the safety of the driver and other road users.

Compatible bikes

  • Compatible with muscle and electric bikes
  • Compatible with scooters and cargo bikes

For use on steep slopes or for transporting more than 10 km per day an electrically assisted bike is preferable.

Note: the trailer has a pedestrian mode, which limits it to 6 km/h. Practical for collecting voluntary disposal points in condominiums.

b:bot, a fun and digital experience.

b:bot is an innovative PET plastic bottle collection machine made in France. It reinvents deposit and recycling to make them adaptable, local, solidarity-based and circular.

Interactive and connected, the user is immersed in a playful experience that encourages him to bring back his bottles.

To manufacture plastic bottles, manufacturers have two options: use recycled material or oil. In a circular economy logic, they want to make efforts to integrate more recycled material, but are held back by an economic problem: it costs more than oil.

More than a machine for collecting plastic bottles, b:bot offers a profitable business model that makes it possible to be ecological without additional costs.

It encourages the act of sorting by being both incentive and solidarity-based.
Environmental impact + social impact: with b:bot, recycling counts double!

3500 bottles in less than 1m². This means less emptying, handling, transport and logistics.

The straw is sold for 600€ per ton

b:bot encourages sorting.

b:bot, how does it work?

The user deposits his PET plastic bottle (all water, juice and soda bottles)

The bottle is analysed by barcode reading and sensors that check its size, weight and composition.

The bottle is accepted and sorted: the colourless bottles will become bottles again, the coloured bottles will be transformed into various products.

If the bottle is refused, a message on the screen explains why (bottle too heavy / unknown / not accepted)

It is then transformed into flakes ready for recycling, the user sees them fall into the bins.

For each accepted bottle, the user accumulates points or cents. They can choose on the touch screen to register them on their loyalty card, print their ticket, or make a donation to an association.

What does b:bot recycle?

Recycle and earn euros!

The user returns his plastic bottles to a local shop and is rewarded:
For each bottle deposited in the machine, a voucher of 1 or 2 cents can be used in the same shop.

For a gesture that counts twice, he can also donate this reward to an association.

b:bot, a fun and digital experience.

The "tuuut" which could well upset the recovery of all types of plastic waste.

Under design, the "tuuut" could disrupt the recovery of all plastics and produce a source of energy from the recycling of this type of waste.

Compact, working at the place of waste production, autonomous and circular, the “tuuut” will be revolutionary.

Dynamo

Dynamo - Energy production in 3D

Nature itself provides the clearest example: trees and plants, the oldest and most efficient eco-systems that use solar energy, are neither two-dimensional nor one-dimensional, but collect energy in all directions.

Taking advantage of this fact, our machines can double the solar energy generated by a given area, improving the performance of photovoltaic solar cells and reducing their cost.

The benefits of 3D photovoltaic technology

Easy installation

The installation of Dynamo® machines does not require a lifeline or scaffolding. The procedure is simple and modular, and thanks to a patented coupling system, the panels are attached to the structure and secured in just a few steps. Structure and secured in just a few steps.

More value for your property

A unique object that adds value to the property, fills and exploits the space above without having to modify the roof or occupy large areas of floor space. A machine that visually integrates harmoniously into the different contexts in which it is placed.

High long-term efficiency

Unlike standard photovoltaic systems, Dynamo® photovoltaic machines photovoltaic machines exploit a natural "chimney effect" by closing the structure on 3 sides, keeping the temperature inside the system below the maximum limit of 45 degrees, and ensuring a high production over the long term.

System integration

Our machines can be easily integrated into existing photovoltaic systems and can autonomously power the charging station of your electric car.
